Al Gore on the Climate Challenge!
Here is the 2008 presentation by Al Gore at TED. Lots of new data and some surprises. He points out that we are missing a sense of urgency. How do we start changing this? This is a must see video. Tell us what you think about it.

I just watched the Al Gore presentation and I think he’s really inspiring. Just last nite when I went to the movies I saw the campaign about the elephants that he shows in this presentation. There’s quite a lot of NGOs campaigning on TV; unfortunately, like Gore says, people haven’t internalized the sense of urgency.
It would be interesting to know how to become more politically involved; it’s something I’m starting to look into. And by politically I don’t mean politics; I mean participation.
Anyway, thanx for the video!
I have seen a couple of his presentation but have to see his movie on global warming. Its inspiring to watch and he has been the front runner in this whole global warming debate. But until congress see’s this as a higher priority than the other issues on their plate, it maybe some time before we see anything really getting pushed forward.
Good show.
I am so surprise with the urgency that he mentioned. It is the element that we have study in the climate change communication in GEIC.
Good job.
